Non-Playing Children
We welcome and encourage children with golf experience to play, but for liability and safety considerations, non playing children under 15 years of age are not allowed on the golf course
Playing Children
Children must be at least 10 years old to play Iron Horse and must pay applicable Jr. rates. Juniors should have experience to consider playing Iron Horse. This is a difficult golf course and not the best choice for beginners.
Golf Cart Polices
Golf carts should not be operated by anyone under the age of 16 at any time. Although golf carts appear to be harmless, annually there are over 6,000 golf cart related injury accidents in the United States. Injuries to children below the age of 17 make up 31.2% of the cases, and hospitalization is required 7.8% of the injuries. Falling from a golf cart (38.3%) is the most common cause of golf cart related injuries.
